Apollo provides comprehensive maintenance and refurbishment services for a wide rage of industrial and civil engineering sectors. Surface preparation, restoration and industrial painting services are available for all types of structures, pipeline, tank storage facilities, onshore petrochemical sites or offshore production stations. Apollo has considerable experience in utilizing a range of epoxies, polyurethanes, Glassflake. Phenolic and vinyl polymeric lining systems, as well as metallization (zinc or aluminum) of storage vessels and pipelines using arc-spray equipment. As well as providing conventional protective coatings to the industrial market, Apollo has a dedicated team catering for the refurbishment and repair for the civil / construction industries. This sub-division provides expertise in the preparation and application of sprayed concrete (Shotcrete / Guniting) epoxy/polyurethane resin injection works, including pressure grouting to compressor bases and general concrete repairs with Cementitious mortars. The team have received extensive training and obtained applicator approval through our UK Associate for specialized applications using Carbon Fibre Reinforcement / Kevlar / Aramid Fibre to various forms of steel and concrete structures. Composite repair systems (Walker Technical Resources – Technowrap System) has been successfully applied to ‘in service’ pipelines and vessels at offshore and onshore petrochemical facilities, offering a solution in extending the life of equipment and pipelines until essential shutdown replacement is programmed. The Technowrap procedure is a cold work application providing pressure containment to pipeline up to 270 barg within temperature ranges from minus (-) 40 C to (+) 250 C.
